Hi and welcome to Positive Activism.

Here at Positive Activism we promote just that: an activist attitude infused with love and compassion.

We all have causes to support, stories to tell, and work to do. The purpose of Positive Activism is to bring important issues to light in the hopes that we, and our supporters can help make a positive change. We believe that all of us have the power to positively impact the world around us, and with that, the responsibility to try.

That explains the ‘activism’. We added the ‘positive’ onto the title in order to help remind everyone that at the source of our efforts is unconditional love. We are not here to preach, to argue, or to condemn. We are here to give and receive love. We are here to help. Join us by subscribing, visiting our Facebook, and following us on twitter.

Founded in the summer of 2012 by a Wisconsin college student with the goal of giving his fellow students an outlet for their compassion and energy, Positive Activism has raised thousands of dollars in the fight against inequality, poverty, and hunger. Our blog is constantly being updated with articles and information regarding a plethora of issues spanning the entire globe. It is our goal to seek out and highlight social inequity and violations of human rights wherever they may occur.

Alone, one may easily be crushed by the sheer weight of the suffering in the world, but together we can create the social movements possible to overcome that suffering. Join the movement and help us change the world, one person at a time.

Thank you,

The Positive Activism Team
